JB/T 8585-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8585-1997.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for web-fed laminating machines, a class of printing machinery. It gives the terms and definitions used for the machine, its types and basic parameters, the requirements placed on it, the test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions for signs, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to reel-fed machines for composite materials of every type, among them casting laminating machines, dry laminating machines, wet laminating machines, solventless laminating machines and combinations of these.
