JB/T 8339-2012 is the English-translated version of 固结磨具 组织号的测定方法.

JB/T 8339-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8339-1996.
2 Scope
JB/T 8339-2012 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for measuring the structure number of bonded abrasive products. It sets out the method by which the structure number of abrasives bonded with ceramic, resin and magnesite binders is determined. Its field of application is those same three groups of bonded abrasives, so one determination serves ceramic, resinoid and magnesite products alike. The procedure quotes JB/T 6570, JB/T 7984.3 and JB/T 7999-2001. The standard replaces JB/T 8339-1996 and is filed under the Chinese classification J43 and the international classification 25.100.70.
