JB/T 7909-2011 was issued by MIIT on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7909-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the bench test method for the frictional characteristics of wet sintered metal friction material. It lays down the terms and definitions, the test rig, the test piece, the determination and calculation of the coefficient of friction, the measurement and calculation of the allowable energy load, and the values reported in the test report. It applies to determining, on wet sintered metal test pieces under lubricated conditions, the dynamic and static coefficients of friction, the wear rate and the allowable energy load value, and non-metallic friction material may be measured wet by reference to it. It quotes GB/T 3141-1994 and supersedes JB/T 7909-1999.
