JB/T 7884.4-2013 is part 4 of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on saw gins, the machines that separate cotton lint from seed, and it is devoted to the blocking ribs fitted to them. The part deals with the ribs as a component: their form, the technical requirements they must meet, the test methods and inspection rules that verify them, and their marking, packaging and storage. Its application is limited to the blocking ribs of saw gins. Classified B93 with agricultural machinery and 65.060.99 internationally, it quotes GB/T 699, GB/T 1804 and GB/T 9439. It replaced JB/T 7884.4-1999. Issued on 1 January 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
