It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7881.3-1999.
It is one of 10 parts of the JB/T 7881 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the third part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on sheep shears, and it carries the technical requirements. What it prescribes are the technical requirements bearing on the structural design of the shearing machine, on the performance of the product, and on its manufacture and its use. The machine it applies to is the shaft type shearing machine. It quotes JB/T 7881.2-2010, JB/T 7881.4-2010 and JB/T 7881.5-2010, and it supersedes JB/T 7881.3-1999.
