It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7881.4-1999.
It is one of 10 parts of the JB/T 7881 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the fourth part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on sheep shears and it holds the test methods. The methods it prescribes are those for the performance of the shearing machine and those used in production testing of it. The machines it applies to are the shaft type and the intermediate type shearing machine, and other types of shearing machine may be tested by reference to it. It quotes GB/T 3768-1996 and supersedes JB/T 7881.4-1999.
