JB/T 7743-2011 is the English-translated version of 旋涡泵.
JB/T 7743-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the vortex pump, named simply the pump in the text. It covers the type, the model designation, the basic parameters and the direction of rotation, then the technical requirements, tests and test methods, inspection rules, marking, manual, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to mechanical seal pumps handling liquid of kinematic viscosity below 37.4 mm2/s and to magnetic drive pumps for flammable, explosive, volatile, toxic, corrosive and costly liquids. The delivered liquid temperature runs from -20 °C to 120 °C for the mechanical seal pump and from -20 °C to 250 °C for the magnetic drive pump. It supersedes JB/T 7743-1995.
