1 Foreword

JB/T 7474.4-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7474.4-1994.

It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 7474 series.

2 Scope

Part 4 of JB/T 7474 deals with automatic focusing, and JB/T 7474.4-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that carries it. It gives the technical requirements and the test methods for active autofocus. Its scope is the 35 mm autofocus camera. The Chinese classification is N46 and the international classification 37.040.10. It quotes GB/T 3556-1993, JB/T 6263-2014, JB/T 7473-2014 and JB/T 8248.6-1999, and it replaces the 1994 edition of the same part, JB/T 7474.4-1994.
