Scope

GB/T 36473-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 文档拍摄仪通用规范.

GB/T 36473-2018 is the Chinese general specification for document camera scanners, devices that capture images of documents placed in a fixed position through an image sensor.

It sets out the product requirements, the test methods, the quality assessment procedures and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage.

It defines terms such as image sensor, pixel and optically effective pixels, and draws on standards for environmental testing at low and high temperature, damp heat and vibration, drop testing, safety, radio disturbance, immunity, reliability and restricted substances.

A normative annex covers test conditions, test charts and key performance tests, and a second one gives the failure criteria. It applies to all kinds of document camera scanners. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.
