JB/T 7436-2017 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 7 November 2017 and has been in force since 1 April 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7436-1994.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for carriage-type cutting machines, a category of thermal cutting equipment. It lays down the terms and definitions, the composition of the machine, its classification and model designation, the basic parameters, the technical requirements, the safety requirements, the tests and their methods, the inspection items and acceptance rules, and the marking, packing, quality documents and storage. It quotes GB/T 2550-2016, GB/T 3375, GB/T 5107-2008 and GB 9448-1999. It supersedes JB/T 7436-1994. The Chinese classification is J64 and the international one 25.160.30.
