JB/T 7083-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7083-1993.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry covering impulse-voltage testers for low-voltage electrical apparatus. It gives the basic parameters of these testers and fixes the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage, and the warranty period.
