JB/T 7031-2018 was issued by MIIT on 9 February 2018 and has been in force since 1 October 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7031-2006, JB/T 7031-1993.
2 Scope
JB/T 7031-2018 is the Chinese machinery industry specification for the steel castings used as the end covers of large grinding mills. It covers the ordering requirements, the manufacturing process, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and test methods, the quality certificate, and the marking and packaging of these castings, with hollow-shaft castings treated alongside the end covers.
