JB/T 6830-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6830-1993.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the measuring projector. It gives the terms and definitions used for the instrument, its classification and basic parameters, the requirements placed on it, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
