JB/T 6737-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6737-1993.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the general requirements for the motors fitted in range hoods. It covers the types, the basic parameters and the dimensions of the single-phase asynchronous motors and brushless direct current motors used in household range hoods, and it sets their technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport.
