JB/T 6221-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6221-2004.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that sets the general electrical specifications for industrial X-ray flaw detectors, a class of non-destructive testing instrument. It states the common technical requirements for the electrical systems of these machines together with the inspection and testing that goes with them. The standard applies to industrial equipment whose rated supply voltage is AC 220 V, 380 V or 220 V/380 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.
