JB/T 6030-2001 is the English-translated version of 工程机械 通用安全技术要求.
JB/T 6030-2001 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that sets the general safety technical requirements for construction machinery. It states the basic safety requirements to be observed in the design, manufacture, use and maintenance of these machines. The standard applies to bulldozers, loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, scrapers and graders, while other construction machinery products may follow it as a reference. It quotes GB/T 8419-1987, GB/T 8420-2000, GB/T 8593.1-1998, GB/T 8593.2-1998, GB 16710.1-1996, GB/T 17299-1998, GB/T 17300-1998, GB/T 17771-1999, GB/T 17922-1999, JB 6028-1998 and JG/T 48-1999. It replaced JB 6030-1992, JB 6029-1992 and JB 6027-1992. Issued on 3 April 2001, it has applied since 1 October 2001.
