1 Foreword

JB/T 5323-2017 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5323-1991.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for welded steel structure racking in high bay warehouses. It carries the terminology and definitions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and the clauses on marking, packaging, transport and storage. It is written for racking served by aisle stacker cranes where the load held in a single cargo space does not exceed 3000 kg. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it, with J83 as the Chinese classification and 53.080 as the international one. It quotes GB/T 700-2006, GB/T 8923.1-2011, GB/T 9286-1998, GB/T 13306, GB/T 13452.2, JB/T 9018-2011 and JB/T 11270. It replaces JB/T 5323-1991.
