Accelerated reliability testing of wheel loaders is the subject of JB/T 51147-1994, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It specifies how the accelerated, or strengthened, test is run and how the reliability characteristic quantities are calculated from it. The method is written for the reliability tests used in quality assessment and for reliability demonstration tests on wheel loaders in series production, and reliability data gathered during type testing may be obtained in the same way. JB 3688.3 is the standard cited in the text. It replaces the earlier internal specification JB/Q 139-1990.
