1 Foreword

JB/T 4241.2-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4241.2-1999.

It is one of 6 parts of the JB/T 4241 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on boring and milling machines with a horizontal spindle. Part 2 fixes the structure and the dimensions of the spindle nose, that is the end of the boring and milling spindle. It applies to general-purpose horizontal boring and milling machines whose spindle diameter is 130 mm or less. The document is filed under Chinese classification J54 and international classification 25.080.20. It quotes GB/T 1443-1996 and GB/T 3837-2001. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it.
