JB/T 4202-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4202-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the quenching and tempering of steel using the residual heat of forging. It specifies the heat treatment process for quenching and tempering steel forgings in this way, and the quality inspection that goes with it.
