JB/T 4010-2018 was issued by MIIT on 9 February 2018 and has been in force since 1 October 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4010-2006.
2 Scope
Ultrasonic testing of the steel retaining rings of turbine generators is the subject of JB/T 4010-2018, a recommended mechanical and machinery industry standard of China. The standard fixes the requirements for the personnel who carry out the examination and for the equipment used. It then sets the testing methods themselves and the acceptance requirements applied to the results. It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4010-2006.
