JB/T 3733-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3733-2006, JB/T 3733-1993.
2 Scope
This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard setting the technical requirements for large forged alloy steel work rolls used in hot rolling. It covers the ordering requirements, the manufacturing process, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and test methods, and the quality certificate, marking and packaging of the roll. It applies to forged alloy steel hot rolling work rolls for mills that roll metal billets, slabs, sections, sheet and strip. Among the standards it quotes are many parts of the GB/T 223 series.
