JB/T 3350-1993 is the English-translated version of 机械压力机 安全技术要求.
JB/T 3350-1993 is the Chinese machinery industry standard setting out the safety requirements for mechanical presses and for the safety accessories used with them. It supports the safety assessment and the technical supervision of the safety level reached by press equipment, and it expressly does not cover screw presses. The standard belongs to the forging and pressing group of the machinery catalogue (Chinese classification J62). It quotes GB 2893 and GB 2894, with GB 4053.1, GB 4053.3 and GB 4053.4, with GB 5083, GB 5226 and GB 6527.2, JB 1829, JB 3240 and JB 4203. It supersedes JB 3350-1983. Issued on 31 March 1993, it has applied since 1 January 1994.
