JB/T 3267-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3267-1991.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for brake shoes used on narrow-gauge mining electric locomotives. It divides the brake shoes into categories and fixes their shape, their dimensions and the material they are made from, then adds the technical requirements, the acceptance rules, the test methods and the marking. What it governs is the cast brake shoe produced in series for narrow-gauge mining locomotives. Its Chinese classification is K63 and its international classification 29.280.
