1 Foreword

JB/T 2999.3-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2999.3-1998.

It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 2999 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a Chinese machinery industry standard (recommended) setting the specifications for camshaft grinding machines of general accuracy grade and for numerically controlled camshaft grinders. It states the requirements that govern how these machines are manufactured and how they are inspected. The provisions are written for table-travel machines whose maximum workpiece swing diameter runs from 125 mm to 320 mm. Documents it calls up include GB 5226.1-2008, GB/T 16769-2008, GB/T 23572-2009, GB/T 25373-2010 and the companion Part 2, JB/T 2999.2-2014. It replaces JB/T 2999.3-1998.
