1 Foreword

JB/T 2664.2-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2664.2-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 2664 series.

2 Scope

This standard is Part 2 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on carbon pile resistor columns for voltage regulators, and it treats the columns for special voltage regulators. It prescribes their classification, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the clauses on marking, packaging and storage among others. The part applies to the carbon resistor columns, also called charcoal columns, that serve as the variable resistor in various aviation voltage regulators and in TD4 series regulators. It replaces the 1999 edition, JB/T 2664.2-1999. Its classification entries are K16 and 29.120, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it.
