JB/T 20207-2024 is the English-translated version of 中药配方颗粒调剂设备.

JB/T 20207-2024 is the Chinese machinery industry standard for the dispensing equipment that measures out Chinese medicine formula granules against an approved prescription.

It covers classification and marking, requirements for materials, appearance, performance and electrical safety, and the test methods that go with them: recognition accuracy of the dispenser information, sealing of the filled bags or boxes, and dosing adjustment accuracy.

Inspection rules separate factory inspection from type inspection, and the closing clause fixes signs, user manuals, packaging, transport and storage. Model codes are compiled under JB/T 20188-2017, electrical safety follows GB/T 36035-2018 and GB/T 5226.1-2019, and the granules themselves are those of the 2020 Pharmacopoeia.

It applies to the manufacture and inspection of such equipment. Issued on 24 October 2024, it has applied since 1 May 2025.
