1 Foreword

JB/T 1308.16-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1308.16-1999.

It is one of 45 parts of the JB/T 1308 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and is the sixteenth part of JB/T 1308, on PN2500 ultra-high pressure valves and fittings. Nuts are its subject, and for them it lays down the form, the dimensions and the technical requirements. It applies to forged steel valve nuts of nominal pressure PN2500, used where the medium is ethylene, polyethylene or another non-corrosive medium. The record carries J16 as the Chinese classification code and 23.060.01 as the international one. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 90.1, GB/T 196, GB/T 197-2003, GB/T 3077 and GB/T 3098.2-2000. It supersedes JB/T 1308.16-1999.
