1 Foreword

JB/T 1308.14-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1308.14-1999.

It is one of 45 parts of the JB/T 1308 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering the stud bolts of the PN2500 ultra-high pressure valve and fitting range. The part fixes the form of the stud bolt, its size and the technical requirements it has to meet. Forged steel valve studs of nominal pressure PN2500, working with ethylene, polyethylene and other non-corrosive media, are what it applies to. The classification recorded for it is J16 in the Chinese scheme and 23.060.01 in the international scheme. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 196, GB/T 224 and GB/T 3077. It supersedes the earlier edition JB/T 1308.14-1999.
