1 Foreword

JB/T 1308.13-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1308.13-1999.

It is one of 45 parts of the JB/T 1308 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the flange part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on PN2500 ultra-high pressure valves and fittings. What this recommended part fixes is the form of the flanges, their dimensions and the technical requirements placed on them. It is intended for the flanges of forged steel valves of nominal pressure PN2500 and nominal sizes from DN3 to DN25, where the medium is ethylene, polyethylene or another non-corrosive fluid. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 196, GB/T 197-2003, GB/T 1804, GB/T 3077 and JB/T 1308.2. It replaces JB/T 1308.13-1999. J16 is its Chinese classification number and 23.060.01 its international one.
