1 Foreword

JB/T 1308.11-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1308.11-1999.

It is one of 45 parts of the JB/T 1308 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 1308.11-2011 covers the male-female threaded collars of the Chinese machinery industry standard on PN2500 ultra-high pressure valves and fittings. This recommended part fixes the form of the inner and outer threaded sleeve, its dimensions and its technical requirements. Its field is forged steel valves of nominal pressure PN2500 and nominal sizes from DN3 to DN25, carrying ethylene, polyethylene and other non-corrosive media. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 196, GB/T 197-2003, GB/T 699, GB/T 1804 and JB/T 1308.2. JB/T 1308.11-1999 is the edition it replaces. Its Chinese classification is J16 and its international classification 23.060.01.
