1 Foreword

JB/T 1308.10-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1308.10-1999.

It is one of 45 parts of the JB/T 1308 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the outer nut part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on PN2500 ultra-high pressure valves and fittings. The recommended part prescribes the form of the external nut, its size and the technical requirements on it. It is drawn up for forged steel valves of nominal pressure PN2500 and nominal sizes from DN3 to DN15, with ethylene, polyethylene or another non-corrosive fluid as the medium. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 196, GB/T 197-2003, GB/T 1804, GB/T 3077 and JB/T 1308.2. JB/T 1308.10-1999 is the edition it replaces. Its classification numbers are J16 in the Chinese system and 23.060.01 in the international one.
