1 Foreword

JB/T 13069-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese mechanical and machinery industry standard for the powder metallurgy stator and rotor of the camshaft phaser assembly, known as VVT, in automotive engines. It fixes the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it covers marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to stators and rotors used in powder metallurgy VVT units for engines. Issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it carries Chinese classification H72 and international classification 77.160.
