2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese mechanical and machinery industry standard for sintered rotors, stators and plates used in automotive power steering pumps. It sets the classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for these sintered iron-based powder metallurgy components, and it covers marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the rotor, the stator and the oil plate of the power steering pump fitted to vehicles. The standard was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology under Chinese classification H72 and international classification 77.160.
