Scope
JB/T 12550-2015 is the English-translated version of 气动减压阀.
JB/T 12550-2015 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for compressed air pressure regulators, the pneumatic pressure reducing valves of a compressed air line.
It fixes the terminology and definitions, the specifications, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it also covers marking, labelling, packaging and storage.
The valves in scope are those built from light alloys such as aluminium, from die-cast zinc alloy, brass, steel or plastics, with a rated inlet pressure of not more than 2.5 MPa and a regulated outlet pressure of not more than 1.6 MPa; a working temperature range is set for them as well.
Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2346, GB/T 3141-1994, GB/T 7306.1, GB/T 17446 and JB/T 5967-2007.

What this standard covers
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and labeling of pneumatic relief valves. This standard applies to light alloy (aluminum, etc.), die-casting zinc alloy, brass, steel and plastic construction materials such as pneumatic valve. The rated input pressure does not exceed 2.5MPa and the output adjustment pressure does not exceed 1.6MPa, operating temperature range of -5°C ~ 80°.
