Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 3583. 1984 "Road vehicles - Pneumatic braking system pressure test connector" (in English).

This standard and ISO 3583. 1984 is the main difference in Appendix A.

This standard replaces GB/T 5922-1986 "car and trailer air brake system pressure test connector."

This standard and GB/T 5922-1986 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- Corrosion requirements GB 2423.17-81 replaced by the standard GB/T 10125-1997;

--- Part of the technical dimensions are subject to change.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the main dimensions used to detect connector cars and trailer air brake system reaction time and the pressure value.

This standard also specifies the pressure test connector should be left free space around and corrosion requirements.
