JB/T 10170-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10170-2000.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that gives the test code for the hoisting mechanism of mobile cranes. It sets the prototype and the test conditions, the test methods and the inspection rules for that mechanism. It applies to the hoisting mechanism of mobile cranes as they are defined in GB/T 6974.2. The standard is classified J80 in the Chinese system and 53.020.20 in the international one, andAmong the standards it quotes are GB/T 3768-1996, GB/T 21457, GB/T 22415, JB/T 4030.1 and JB/T 5945-1991.
