JB/T 10153-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10153-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 10153-2013 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on tumbling chip abrasives, which are a bonded abrasive product. It gives the terms and definitions, the classification of the product, the technical requirements, the test methods, the test rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It covers tumbling chips made with a vitrified bond and those made with a resin bond. The standard is classified J43 in the Chinese system and 25.100.70 in the international one, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it.
