1 Foreword

JB/T 10149-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10149-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that specifies the sintered-steel nut and the gear ring used in a drill chuck. It fixes the requirements these two parts must meet, the sampling, the test methods and the provisions for the marking and the packaging. It applies to the sintered steel nuts and gear rings made for drill chucks. The standard is classified J52 in the Chinese system and 25.060.20 in the international one, and it was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 230.1-2009, GB/T 5163-2006, GB/T 6804-2008, JB/T 2798-1999, JB/T 3207-2005 and JB/T 8063.1-1996. It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10149-1999.
