HG/T 4949-2016 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for transparent optical polyethylene terephthalate hard-coated film used in in-mold decoration. It describes the structure of the product, the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and sets out labelling, packaging, storage and transport. The films within its scope are hardened films built on polyethylene terephthalate film for in-mold decoration work. Its tests are drawn from GB/T 1731, GB/T 1763, GB/T 6739, GB/T 25255, GB/T 29330, GB/T 29333, HG/T 4303, ASTM D374, ASTM D1003, ASTM D1204 and ASTM D3359. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
