1 Scope
This document describes the method for measuring the adhesion of optical polyethylene terephthalate (PET) protective films, including instruments and equipment, sample preparation equipment, test environment, operating procedures, result calculations and test reports.
This document is suitable for testing the adhesion of optical PET protective films using an electronic tensile testing machine.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Adhesive force
Under the specified peeling conditions, when the optical PET protective film sample attached to the sample plate is separated from the sample plate, the width of 25mm bearable load.
Note: The width and length of the sample refer to GB/T 2792. The unit of adhesion force is expressed in Newtons per 25 mm (N/25mm).
4 Instruments and Equipment
4.1 Pressure roller
Should comply with GB/T 2792.
4.2 Electronic tensile testing machine
4.2.1 The electronic tensile testing machine should ensure that the failure load of the sample meets the conditions, between 5% and 90% of the full standard load, and the error in the tensile force indication should not exceed It should be greater than 1%, and the tensile speed of the electronic tensile testing machine should be continuously peeled off at (300±5)mm/min.
4.2.2 The electronic tensile testing machine should have the data processing function to automatically record and analyze the peeling load.
4.2.3 When collecting data from the electronic tensile testing machine, the time interval between each data collection shall not exceed 100ms, and the value interval shall be set.
5 Sample preparation
5.1 The sample should be flat, uniform, and free of visible defects such as bubbles. According to the requirements of GB/T 1040.3, the sampling width of the sample is (25±1)mm.
