HG/T 4863-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for high palladium catalysts used in the oxidation of ammonia to nitric acid. It sets the requirements for the catalyst and, with them, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and transport. Its scope is limited to ammonia oxidation catalysts with a palladium content between 25% and 35%. Analytical work is carried out with water to GB/T 6682, and results are rounded according to GB/T 8170. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
