HG/T 4858-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard covering the methods for analysing the chemical composition of palladium-carbon catalysts for purified terephthalic acid. It sets out how the mass fractions of palladium, copper, iron and sulfur in the catalyst are determined. The methods are written for the palladium on carbon catalysts used in the purification stage of terephthalic acid production. Reagents and standard solutions follow GB/T 601, GB/T 602 and GB/T 603, water follows GB/T 6682, and sampling and sieving follow GB/T 6679 and GB/T 6003.1. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
