This standard specifies the definitions and terminology, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyester polyols made from purified terephthalic acid (PTA) residues. This standard is applicable to a series of polyester polyol products produced by esterification reaction of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) residue, diethylene glycol and glycerin under the action of a catalyst (the application areas are polyurethane rigid foam and polyurethane double foam). The manufacturer of the product declares the conformity of the product, which can be used as a basis for the manufacturer and the purchaser to sign a contract, or as a basis for a third party to determine product conformity.
