HG/T 2271-2014 is the English-translated version of 氨氧化制硝酸用铂催化剂.
HG/T 2271-2014 is the recommended chemical industry standard for the platinum catalysts used to oxidise ammonia in nitric acid production. It lays down the requirements for the catalyst, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport. Its scope is the platinum catalyst employed in the oxidation of ammonia to nitric acid, and in hydrocyanic acid manufacture as well. The analytical work rests on the quoted standards GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170. The 2007 edition, HG/T 2271-2007, is replaced by it. Issued on 14 October 2014, it has applied since 1 April 2015.
