HG/T 4731.1-2014 is the first part of the Chinese chemical industry standard on the application performance of levelling agents for polyamide, and it is given over to retarding property. A levelling agent slows the uptake of dye so that colour builds evenly, and this part sets the test method by which that retarding action is measured. The method is written for levelling agents used in the dyeing of polyamide textiles. It calls up GB/T 2374-2007, GB/T 6529-2008, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 6688-2008, GB/T 7568.3-2008 and HG/T 4266-2011. Issued on 24 December 2014, it has applied since 1 June 2015.
