HG/T 4568-2013 is the English-translated version of 氯醚防腐涂料.
HG/T 4568-2013 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for chloroether anticorrosive coatings. It sets out how these coatings are classified and what is required of them, together with the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. The coatings it deals with are built on a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether, the resin usually shortened to chloroether. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 1725, GB/T 1766, GB/T 1771, GB/T 5210-2006, GB/T 9271-2008 and GB/T 9286. It carries Chinese classification G51 and international classification 87.040 and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
