HG/T 4565-2013 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for high temperature resistant coatings used on boilers and their auxiliary equipment. It classifies the products, states the requirements they must meet, and gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and storage. Coatings of this type go onto hot equipment in power plants and in industrial and marine service. The quoted standards include GB/T 224, GB/T 1735-2009, GB/T 1771-2007, GB/T 8923.1, GB/T 9286-1998 and GB/T 13491. Chinese classification G51 and international classification 87.040 apply, with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the issuing body. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
