HG/T 4552.1-2013 measures the tin content of tin-stripping waste water by potassium iodate titration, as the opening part of a recommended chemical industry standard of China. It sets out the principle of the titration together with the reagents and materials, the instruments and equipment, the handling of the sample, the analytical procedure and the calculation of the result. Solutions of this kind are the spent liquors left by the stripping of tin. The part quotes GB/T 1706-2006, GB/T 6682-2008, HG/T 3696.1 and HG/T 3696.3. Chinese classification Z04 and international classification 13.030.01 apply, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
