HG/T 4342-2012 is the English-translated version of 鳞片型锌粉底漆.

HG/T 4342-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard, recommended in status, for zinc flake primers. It sets the product classification, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules on marking, packaging and storage. The primers in question are pigmented with zinc in flake form, which may also contain spherical zinc, and are bound with either inorganic or organic binders. Testing is carried out with reference to GB/T 1725, GB/T 1732, GB/T 1771, GB/T 5210, GB/T 8923, GB/T 9271, GB/T 13288.1 and HG/T 3668, among others. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
